Encapsulating the romance and styling of a bygone era, The Mon Chéri was traditionally crafted in the finest mahogany, she has an engine of distinction, a luxurious interior.
With the elegance of a Mercedes, the brute force of a Ferrari and the panache of a Bentley the Mon Cheri has an impressive history, gracing many a prestigious and international stage as an example of superior performance and beauty.
She was hand crafted to perfection with passion by Gerry Wylie (designer and builder), fulfilling his life long dream of creating the most chic runabout reminiscent of those Italian beauties, the Rivas, or the early-American Chris Crafts favoured by Hollywood stars of today and the yesteryear.
It took the best Brazilian mahogany timber and 2500 manhours to make this stunner. Passionately created she gleams with pride boasting a finish like a grand piano. Her deck jewellery is custom made and cast in 316 solid stainless steel, highly polished to a mirror like finish – just the way a fine piece of jewellery should be.
– Her Interior –
Once on board the Mon Chéri you’ll experience pure luxury on water. Like her exquisite exterior, her interior is luxurious, comfortable and pristine. With plush seating for 4 passengers and storage for luggage in the front hull she is able to accommodate 4 passengers in total comfort or 2 passengers with luggage. The Mon Chéri has an all-weather soft top which converts easily allowing for all year transfers and operation.
The Mon Chéri is powered by a Mercury Marine Diesel. She was repowered in June 2015 with a Diesel Engine (TDI 3.0V-6), providing her with high power density in a compact light weight package. The variable geometry turbo provides peak torque at 2000 rpm, resulting in reduced time to plane and outstanding overall operating characteristics.
